Cheap and best digital camera in India?

Hi, I want to buy a digital camera. I'm not much aware of its technical advantages like optical and digital zoom, ISO 9000 or 16000 or so, pixels, etc. can any one explain these? And my budget is around Rs. 6000/-. please suggest me a good camera. Though i'm not a professional photographer, i'd like to shoot some very good shots.

For most cameras, ISO sensitivity ranges from 100 to 1600. Sensitivity of 1600 would work better in low light conditions, where as 100 will work better in bright sunlight.

Canon IXUS maybe in your price range. They are good quality small cameras, easy to use and takes good pictures.

Rs 6000 will not get much, I'm afraid. But you don't need much. You've obviously no idea about photography, so almost any camera will do.

The best in your price range? Probably a Sony Cybershot W180 or Nikon Coolpix S220.
