I am interested in getting a new digital camera, any recommendations?

Okay, I want a camera that takes good-quality photos no matter where I am, that is quick when taking pictures, that is SMALL, that is relatively easy to use, and I would like for it to take HD video (without muting when zooming). I would also prefer for it to use SD cards. I have considered mainly the powershot sd780 is and the samsung dualview tl225, but I have found a few minor things about them that I don't like. If you could please recommend different digital cameras that follow most of these qualifications, I would greatly appreciate it.

Like always when I see this question I recommend the cannon powershot >[URL Truncated]

Plus it's 50% off right now which is a bonus.

Canon SD780 is a good camera choice that take good picture quality and also take HD video but No Optical Zoom in Video Mode while Recording (You can Digitally Zoom)

Personally I would recommend Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 10.1 MP with 12x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 inch LCD. Great zoom, great picture & also take good HD video.
