Kodak does not guarantee performance for cards over 8GB on the M340

Instead of getting a 32GB SDHC, you should get a couple of 8GB class 6 SDHC cards.
Class 6 lets you capture higher resolution videos for a longer period of time. A Class 2 card is too slow and will limit your video segments to the internal memory of the camera (usually just a few minutes before it shuts down to save it to the card). With a class 6 card, the camera writes directly to the card and is limited only by the card's capacity.
have you checked your owner's manual?
