what camera backpack should i get?

hey all, i am a photographer nothing special i just do it for a hobby, i have a nikon 5000 and the kit 15-88 and a sigma 18-250mm a speedlight and some other accessorys and a 17 inch hp pavilion dv9000 i want a backpack type style and i want it to carry all my gear plus laptop and some extra gear (snacks a jacket ect.) and i want it to be easy to get to my gear. i looked at the lowepro fastpack 350 and the kata 467 anybody have these? what do you think? and any other bags you think i should look at? thanks

i have the fastpack 250 if you don't mind, because of the laptop slot you get extra padding on the back but i suggest you see the sling shot series from lowepro because it gets a bit annoying to remove the one "handle" from your shoulder to sling the back to you. the sling shot will save you time and maybe give you a more comfortable feeling.

kata 467 is a good choice, extremely well built, comfortable to carry and have plenty room for your stuff.

I use to a backpack but realized that I was just using it to get to the basic location and then carrying in a medium or smaller bag when I ventured out to shoot. So now I have a carry on bag that I fit a Lowepro Flipside with cameras and some small accessories, also the carry on can hold my compact tripod along with some other things.

You really want to research this, I found traveling with and carrying my equipment to be a very intricate to work out.

Below are some good links, photo.net with has a large online community of photographers and discussion forums where you can gain some advice. The ebags has a large selection and is excellent for searching and getting details like dimensions and variety of photos. Also, links to some name brand camera bag makers websites and some photo dealers with good selection.

Hope this helps.
