What they failed to you tell you is that:
120 film is not easy to find (they're usually used by professionals). So you won't find them at a store a block away that sells regular film. It's even more expensive to send to the lab and have it developed and printed. After a few rolls, you'll put the camera away.
If you want to use a film camera, get a 35 mm one instead. Nikon FM2 is a fine camera.
I think any of those will work ok. You are more interested in the square format and a different way of creating and I do not see where one camera is better for another in regards to this.
Below I listed some links that can be of help. Film may not be readily available in your community but that is ok, there are resources where you can find what you need.
Hope this helps.

get yourself lubitel 166B or 166Universal from ebay or sth like that. both are almost the same, except that the 166Universal is capable of taking picture in 6x4.5 and also 6x6 format. it is only 6x6 format in 166B. both using 120mm film but you can use 35mm film as well. check [URL Truncated] for more detail. forget about lubitel 2 which is an older version of lubitel or lubitel 166+ because it is very expensive. I just found a link in ebay of cheap lubitel but the seller seems to be ignorant. better ask him about return policy. [URL Truncated]
